Henderson Bros Kimberley
		This bottle was acquired by Ken Gibbon from Andries Meyer in the early 80's. It was "discovered" in Kens collection by Russ Smith on his last visit to South Africa during 2001. Russ's patience is being rewarded by a unique 3 way swap involving Cape Glass, a Pretoria Hybrid and a lot of good-will during early December 2003. This bottle should be in the U.K. by March 2004. It is the only recorded example of a Henderson Bros Hybrid with a Cobalt Blue marble and although rather sick at this stage, no doubt Russ will waste no time in restoring it to its former glory. Antique Bottles S.A. is glad to have been instrumental in this deal. Note the very different circular indentations on this bottle manufactured by W.M. Barnard & Sons London which stands in a silver plated Codd stand which was a present from Russ Smith.
