BBR Auctions 3rd July 1999

BBR holds regular auctions of a number of items related to our hobby. This catalogue is particularly close to my heart as it contained three prized items dug in South Africa. Recent BBR auction catalogues are in full colour and cost £7 (excluding postage to South Africa).

We are hoping to reach an agreement with Alan whereby we might make the auction catalogues more easily available to interested parties in South Africa. These catalogues are an incredible source of information as well as being a price guide however one must be carefull to not presume too much as an item could fetch an astronomical price at one auction and an identical item fail to sell at the next auction ... as Alan Blakeman is fond of saying, "The market will decide".
